Description:
It's bookmarking! The goal is to mark distinct locations that have an entire book written about them. Each mark is for an individual book.
Expanded Description:
The objective for this waymark category is to seek out and mark locations that have entire books written about them. Some examples would be a book about Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel, a story about the Statue of Liberty or a picture book about Monticello. Entire books written about events at locations are also part of this category.
Instructions for Posting a There's a Book About It Waymark:
What we're looking for in this category are non-fiction books about a particular location. Usually the book would be about a particular building but it can be expanded out to larger areas. One example is Disney's Magic Kingdom.

The intent is not to make this a category about a particular person who lived somewhere or a list of guidebooks about a city. A book about Beethoven marked at his birthplace doesn't fit the category, for example. However a book about the Tower of London would be acceptable since the things in the book actually happened there.

There are also other exceptions. If an entire book was written about an event that happened at a location, like the battle at Little Round Top in Gettysburg or the "Gunpowder Plot" of 1605 to blow up Parliament, that would be acceptable. The default picture has to be the cover of the book.
Instructions for Visiting a Waymark in this Category:
Please log this if you have read the book this location relates to and please provide feedback about the book. Thanks!
