Managed By: Icon Here C&G Rock Climbing
Description:
Rock climbing is a sport in which participants climb up or across natural rock formations. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a pre-defined route. Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climber's strength, endurance, agility, and balance along with his or her mental control.
Expanded Description:
This category is for posting the location of Established Rock Climbing Areas. Each place should be known to local climbers, have established named routes, and be rated for difficulty. Preferably, they should be listed on Rockclimbing.com or some other climbing website.

Rules:
It must be a natural rock cliff face, quarries are OK, but not something like a man-made retaining wall.
The climbing area must be on public land with no access issues.
Each climbing area should only be listed once, unless each crag is independent. "Devils Tower" would have all four sides listed under one waymark, but in Yosemite valley both "El Capitan" and "Half Dome" can be listed.

Instructions for Posting a Established Rock Climbing Areas Waymark:
Please post at least two pictures, showing as much of the climbing area as possible, a photo from the top would also be great.
Simple directions are required, (what road to park on, which trails, ect.)

Instructions for Visiting a Waymark in this Category:
Post at least one photo of the climbing area, a photo of climbers on the wall is a bonus.
If you're a climber, a list of what gear you used would be helpful.

The first few openings of the Blocks dates from the year 2000, mainly in highest blocks in the mill sector. From 2003 almost all were open to currently existing lines in the Park sector and other Mill sector.

Long ago, the cliffs of the Fetal Reguengo are appreciated by the inhabitants of the parish, so that the place where now stands the climbing school was named Mesh d'Ouro, something synonymous with great value
