A natural arch or natural bridge is a formation (or landform) where a rock arch forms, with a natural passageway through underneath. Photos required to list a waymark.
Expanded Description:
Most natural arches form as a narrow ridge, walled by cliffs, become narrower from erosion, with a softer rock stratum under the cliff-forming stratum gradually eroding out until the rock shelters thus formed meet underneath the ridge, thus forming the arch. Natural arches commonly form where cliffs are subject to erosion from the sea, rivers or weathering (sub-aerial processes); the processes "find" weaknesses in rocks and work on them, making them bigger until they break through. Instructions for Posting a Natural Arches Waymark:
1. The arch must be natural and at least 3 feet high and three feet wide. This will eliminate "finger sized" (or micro arches) which occur in many rock formations. A "stone bridge" shall qualify as an arch for this category.
2. A clear photo of the arch is required to be posted to the WM page.
3. The coordinates must be for the arch itself. If the arch area cannot be reached because it is closed to the public for safety reasons, use the designated viewing area for that arch. Please do not submit coordinates derived from the Internet.
4. Related web site or research material that will enhance the WM is always strongly encouraged.
5. If you log this WM before it is approved, it can be justification for a declined notice.
Instructions for Visiting a Waymark in this Category:
You must post a picture of you with a GPSr or Geocaching/Waymarking attire/equipment and the subject arch in the background.

This small hill is a remnant of a much larger feature as a result of the natural erosive processes that the surrounding geological formations have undergone.
