Built in 1935 the Tower Bridge (also known as the M St. Bridge) was a replacement for a railroad owned bridge that had been built in 1911. It was originally used for both rail traffic and auto traffic.

The art deco style Fox Theatre was built in 1930 and can be found within the Centralia Downtown Historic District at 123 S. Tower Avenue. Tower Avenue was originally part of US 99 before I-5 was built.

This neon monarch must have been quite a sight back when it fully lit up. From the look of things, the shop has been closed for awhile. It is located along Tower Avenue (was part of US Route 99) in the historic downtown district of Centralia.

The Harlan D. Miller Memorial Bridge, also known as the Dog Creek Bridge, was built in 1927. This abandoned bridge is located where Dog Creek enters the Sacramento River. Coordinates were taken at a benchmark that has been stolen from the bridge.

Since the 1920's a portion of the Pacific Highway passed by the huge rock gate at the entrance to Fort Lewis. When a 1957 expansion of I-5 threatened to demolish the gate, it was moved and can now be seen from I-5, next to the fort's visitor center.

The Bridge Motel and one of its signs was recently torn down but this sign across the street was saved from the wrecking ball. The motel is named for the Aurora Bridge (a US99 landmark) that it is located one half block from.
