Description:: This category is looking for fiberglass, concrete, and foam giants used anywhere in the world. They must be permanent in nature. Theme park and tourist attraction giants will be accepted in this category.

Please place Muffler Men statues in the category which predates this one.

Category Update 2011:

The category now accepts flat metal giants as long as they are proportionally giant figures of some sort.

Instructions for Posting a Giants of Commerce Waymark:

1) Giants must be proportionally giant. For example, a depiction of a baby as a giant of 3 to 4 feet would be accepted. This will allow for submissions like the A&W Family and Bob's Big Boy Statues to be listed here.
2) They must be permanent displays.
3) A location that has more than one giant next to each other (Paul Bunyan & Babe) should have only one waymark placed for all of the giants.
4) Giants must have been originally installed to advertise a place or product such as the examples given. Giant artwork will not be accepted.

*Giant art pieces
*Pieces that are designed to move from place to place
*Giant must be 3 dimensional, Flat, stamped or relief giants excluded. Update 2011 flat giants are now accepted in the category.
*Muffler Men

Please place Muffler Men giants in the Muffler Man Category which predates this one. Remember, Uniroyal Gals, Big Friends, The Happy Halfwit, Some Bunyans, and the Big Indian giants are all considered to be Muffler Men. Please research your giant and place him in the proper category. If you have a question feel free to contact any of the officers involved in this category with them.
