This waymark category is for the waymarking of either active or inactive railroad bridges of any type. The railroad bridge can currently have other uses and still be waymarked here (i.e. rails-to-trails, resurfaced for other vehicles to use).

Railroad Bridges:

Any bridge structure that currently or at one time carried rail traffic including bridges that may have been resurfaced and no longer have rails. If at one point the structure was used by train traffic it may be submitted for review. Should you have a question pertaining to the listing of a waymark please contact any officer of the Railroad Bridges Category management team.

Naming Your Waymark:

1. Name your waymark using the location or bridge name. Many bridges have identifiers and names that can be found using a simple internet search.
2. Include the city/town or county/province where the bridge is found.

Examples:
Conwy Railroad Bridge - Conwy, Wales, Great Britain
Bridge 404 HHH - Treveris Street, London, UK

Coordinates: When listing a railroad bridge, please list a safe AND legal coordinate where future visitors may take a picture of the bridge. The coordinates should not be on the bridge itself. Please identify the location where your coordinates were taken in the long description. Coordinates should be recorded by you personally at the site of the waymark.

Photo Requirement: All waymark submissions must include at least one (preferably more) photo of the bridge.
