Only one artistically decorated utility box entry per submission will be accepted unless there are two or more adjacent utility boxes painted in the same manner. In this case, the multiple boxes may be lumped into one submission. Please note that some submissions will be evaluated on a merit basis even if they do not meet the exact letter of the posting requirements.

1. NAME: A name that describes the utility box art and its location should be included in the title. Generally this should be the city/town, state and/or country -- whatever is appropriate to its location.

2. COORDINATES: Please post coordinates that you have taken yourself with a GPSr.

3. PHOTOS: All four sides of the box need to be photographed (this could be done with four individual photographs, one of each side, or two photographs with two sides clearly visible per photograph, or a combination of these). An additional photo showing the top of the box (if it can be photographed) would be appreciated. In addition, if an artist's name is identified on the box, a close-up of this information also must be included. A GPSr photo is not required.

4. LONG DESCRIPTION: A Long Description that is different from the Quick Description is required. Additional information about the utility box should be included if available on the box or the internet (e.g., artist's name, title of the art, year painted or vinyl wrapped, location description). At a minimum, please describe the art on the box, as well as its location (e.g., street name, intersection, community, etc.). If we find that additional information about the utility box is easily available on the internet, but it's not included in the Long Description, we reserve the right to decline the submission.
