Inside this museum is a mish-mash of historical items - popular teachers, local sports heroes, Miss Citrus gowns, Pancho Villa (even though he never set foot in Mission), and a model of a Jacal and a steamboat. More interesting is the adjacent art museum.

There are only three bike shops in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, in Brownsville, Harlingen and McAllen - all outlets of Bicycle World. So if you need your bike fixed, this is where you are headed. Only downside is that they are all closed Sundays.
