In doing internet research on this tower, I have found references to it as "Model Tower" and as "Barrow Tower." Perhaps both names are correct. This tower is located in northern Stewart County, on Tower Road east of The Trace. If you are looking for it on USGS Topo Maps, you will want to reference the Tharpe Quad.

The tower stands approximately 80 feet above the forest floor and provides a good view of the surrounding area. There are two old buildings near the tower. The remnants of the old electrical lines and antenna coax still hang on parts of the tower.
