The Flying Boot and Spur Room is a small restaurant and bar located in South Tacoma. The sign has some wear and tear but is definitely one of the best examples of neon in Tacoma.

I heard from Tacoma News Tribune's food editor, Ed Murietta, that when interviewing the current owner he learned that the restaurant was originally opened by a lady whose last name was "Boots" and that she worked for an airline, hence the "Flying Boots".
