Long Description:
The disk is 25 feet from the center of the SW bound lanes of NM State Road 25, about halfway between White Rock, NM and the Bandelier National Park entrance. The disk is a Koogle & Pouls Engineering disk, a survey firm based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The disk is one in a line of marks along the state road. The disk is stamped:
but doesn't have an identifier for that particular disk. There are two witness posts bracketing the station.
Interestingly, the Koogle & Pouls firm did surveying work for the US House of Representatives JFK assassination committee:
