The Fire Alarm Station, also known as the Fire Communication Center, was designed in 1930 by Morton J. Nicholson in the Classical Revival style.

It still serves the community as the Fire Communications Center, dispatching approximately 40,000 calls a year. Located next door is Fire Station No. 1, also on the National Historic Register.
