Long Description:Pinckneyville Park is located at 4758 S. Old Peachtree Rd. in
Norcross, GA. The new dog park opened Friday, October 20, 2006.
The dog park includes grassy areas primarily located on the
Colonial Pipeline Easement that runs through Pinckneyville Park and
also encompasses some wooded areas for shade. There are two
enclosures, one for Small dogs and one for Large dogs. Amenities
include water fountains, poop bag stations, trash cans, benches,
and agility equipment.
The new dog park is an exciting addition to Pinckneyville Park's
current features, which include a seven-field baseball/softball
complex, concession buildings, restrooms, 1.1-mile paved
multi-purpose trail, family pavilion, four playgrounds, roller
hockey rink and free-skate area. The park also features the
5,000-square-foot Medlock Pavilion, which is Gwinnett's only
corporate pavilion.
