Jefferson County MILTON GPS 1992, WI, is a Jefferson County (WI) survey disk located along the north side of County Highway N about 3.0 miles north-northeast of the town of Milton, Rock County, WI. The disk is mounted flush with the surface in the top of a round, concrete monument, and is surrounded by three orange WIDT witness posts. It is about 0.37 miles east of the intersection of State Highway 26 and County H, about 0.32 miles east of the intersection of County Highway N and North Vogel Road leading north, about 0.19 miles east of the driveway entrance to the residence at number 5126, 193.6 feet west of the extended centerline of a field entrance, 117.2 feet west-southwest for a metal fiber-optic cable warning post, 41.3 feet north of the centerline of County Highway N, and about level with the surface of the highway. The disk is a Jefferson County disk, but was monumented by Rock County (WI-055) in 1992, and is stamped MILTON GPS 1992. It is in the National Geodetic Survey database at PID = DG4917 (
visit link) . To reach from Exit 171 off Interstate Highway 39 and 90, go northeast and north on State Highway 26 for about 8.0 miles to the crossroad intersection with County Highway N.
