Lucky Strike Water Tower - Water Towers on Waymarking.com

This water tower is also a USGS benchmark. Part of the new American Tobacco Historic District, this water tower now serves as both a landmark in Durham and as the setting for a musical performances during the summer months. During the holidays, the tower is lighted to celebrate the season.

Parking is available at the garage near the corner of Willard and Blackburn. There are several nice restaurants and a Starbucks here as well as an amazing water course that flows through the site and under the water tower.
