On a long stretch of lonely highway, Colorado 17, the Mirage Trading Co. appears on the west side of the road as a welcome refuge. Inside is a surprising and eclectic assortment of artwork, and a little coffee bar. The WiFi is fast and no password is required.

Even if you don't need WiFi, this wonderful place is worth a stop if you are in the area after, or before, visiting the nearby Great Sanddunes National Monument.
