EN: This fountain is located on a small square with two benches on the south wall of Aarburg Fortress, which is now a juvenile prison.
The fountain has an oval stone trough about one and a half meters in diameter. Behind it is a square column with a stone urn and a metal ball on the top (maybe a cannonball).
The fountain is not dated, but could be created in the 18th or 19th century.
DE: Dieser Brunnen befindet sich mit zwei Sitzbänken auf einem kleinen Platz an der Südmauer der Festung Aarburg, die heute ein Jugendgefängnis ist.
Der Brunnen hat einen ovalen Steintrog von etwa eineinhalb Metern Durchmesser. Dahinter befindet sich eine quadratische Brunnensäule mit einer Steinurne und einer Metallkugel auf der Spitze (vielleicht eine Kanonenkugel).
Der Brunnen ist nicht datiert, könnte aber aus dem 18. oder 19. Jahrhundert stammen.
