This Firehouse looks mostly like a brick residence, with green corrugated iron hip roofs to either side of the slightly higher hip/gable section of the two vehicles bays in the centre. While there is only a short concrete apron to the front of the roller doors, the rest of the forecourt is asphalted. It is set back, and mostly out of sight of Old Northern Road, though it is right beside the Glenorie Les Shore Oval. While the Brigade was established in 1947 (street-sign) I couldn't see a plaque for the Firehouse.
There is a couple of compatible nomenclatures at this site, with the road-side sign showing - 'The Hills District Glenorie Brigade; NSW Rural Fire Service', and a long narrow reflective sign set on a sandstone boulder showing - 'Glenorie Volunteer Bushfire Brigade'.
