The foundation stone for the Early English style for Christ Church Anglican Church was laid on 17 February 1845. Once St Paul's Anglican church opened in Cooma in 1855 services were held infrequently and the church fell into disrepair but was restored in the 1920's and again in 1960. The granite walled church has a steeply pitched slate roof and a tower with a tapering spire.
The graveyard contains the remains of many of the founding pioneers of the area dating from the late 1840's to the present day
