The wooden lookout tower is situated on the edge of the Svákov Celtic settlement on a slope over the Lužnice River, with a beautiful semi-circular view of Sobeslav, surrounding villages and even the ruins of Choustník. Close to the tower, there is the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows and also Svákov springs with drinking water considered by many to have healing effects .

Drevená rozhledna na okraji bývalého hradište z doby železné Svákov nad levým brehem reky Lužnice, cca 1km západne od Sobeslavi, cca 17km jižne od Tábora.
Díky její poloze, v blízkosti lesa, je z ní rozhled omezen. Pulkruhový výhled ze zastrešeného ochozu je pouze východním smerem na mírne zvlnenou krajinu kolem Lužnice. Krome Sobeslavi a blízké obce Klenovice mužeme pozorovat další sídla a na obzoru dominantní vrch Choustník se zríceninou hradu.
