Oroville's post office appears to be a post office without a name.

Initially we thought that perhaps the building was so new that they hadn't yet gotten around to putting the name on the building. The trim paint, however, is already fading, so that can't be the reason. We're left to suppose that everybody in town knows where the post office is, so why bother with a name?
The post office stands near the centre of the Town of Oroville, at Ironwood Street and Kernan Road, a block west of Highway 97, AKA Main Street. It's a good sized post office for a small town, with a full service lobby and about 1,000 mailboxes. On the left side, near the end of the wing of boxes leading off from the main row of mailboxes and about midway between the top and bottom is mailbox number 666.
