Smithsonian Art Inventory"Full-length portrait of George O'Brien Millard dressed in a suit and a knee-length overcoat. His left hand is tucked into his pants pocket. The bronze sculpture stands on a stepped stone base.
Millard was a member of the local school board and a benefactor of the public schools of Beaumont. Originally, the sculpture was installed in front of the George O'Brien Millard school with partial funding provided by Beaumont school children and faculty."
