[DE] "Der U-Bahnhof Wittenbergplatz ist ein U-Bahnhof im Berliner Ortsteil Schöneberg des Bezirks Tempelhof-Schöneberg. Er besitzt als einziger U-Bahnhof Berlins fünf nebeneinanderliegende Gleise und wird von den Linien U1, U2 und U3 der BVG bedient.
Vom unterirdischen U-Bahnhof Nollendorfplatz können die Züge in alle drei westlichen Richtungen fahren, vom oberirdischen nur in zwei. Die Verbindung vom Nollendorfplatz (oben) zur Uhlandstraße ist nicht möglich, analog in der Gegenrichtung.
Von 1972 bis 1993 wurde die Strecke über Nollendorfplatz (oben) nicht befahren, da hier aufgrund der Berliner Mauer kein Bedarf bestand. Jetzt fuhr die Linie 1 vom Schlesischen Tor über Nollendorfplatz (unten) nach Ruhleben (heute: U2), die beiden anderen Linien begannen erst am Wittenbergplatz. Die Linie 2 zur Krummen Lanke (heute: U3) kehrte auf den Gleisen nach Nollendorfplatz (oben), sodass sich jeweils nach dem Bahnsteig die Züge niveaugleich kreuzen mussten. Die Linie 3 zur Uhlandstraße (heute: U1) befuhr lediglich den südlichen Außenbahnsteig."

From Nollendorfplatz underground station, trains can travel in all three western directions, from above only in two. The connection from Nollendorfplatz (above) to Uhlandstraße is not possible, analogous in the opposite direction.
From 1972 to 1993, the route via Nollendorfplatz (above) was not used, as there was no need here due to the Berlin Wall. Now line 1 went from Schlesisches Tor via Nollendorfplatz (below) to Ruhleben (today: U2), the other two lines started at Wittenbergplatz. Line 2 to Krummen Lanke (today: U3) returned on the tracks to Nollendorfplatz (above), so that the trains had to cross each other at the same level after the platform. Line 3 to Uhlandstraße (today: U1) only used the southern side platform."
