Church of the early 12th century. The nave is vaulted with ogives in the 15th century. Remodeling in the 17th and 18th centuries (partial reconstruction of the bell tower, repair of the north wall of the nave). In 1806-1807, construction of the sacristy against the chevet of the church. In 1814, reconstruction of the south corner of the facade and the gable of the chevet. In 1843, reduction of the southern chapel. The building consists of a square bell-tower, a single nave with lateral arches delimited by internal buttresses, two rectangular chapels and a two-span choir whose flat chevet is carved into the interior. a semicircular apse. The western facade has a semicircular portal molded a twisted coil and a cavet falling on two columns with foliage capitals. Inside, the bell tower is vaulted with an archaic dome. The triumphal arch, broken, rests on pillars with three columns with Roman capitals mixing beaded ribbons, acanthus leaves and hooks. This church is the oldest in Niort, and preserves from the Romanesque period a choir of archaic structure. Its Romanesque bell tower is a rare type in the area.
