This is a more contemporary/modern designed church, built with a square foundation, and an 'atrium' in the northern corner. It has a quite flat corrugated iron hip roof. There is a large covered entrance at the southern corner, near the Bell Tower.
There are exposed (non-wood) beams to the ceiling, with wood paneling to the front. The wooden-pew seating is angled 'in the wings'. In the foyer is a printed metal plaque, with the time-line for the Old/Additions/New Church. While in the outer entry is a black Foundation Stone, with the following inscription:
This Church was Erected
by the People of Richmond
to the Glory of God
and Dedicated by
Most Rev. Bede Vincent Heather. D.D., L.S.S., B.A.,
Auxiliary Bishop to
His Eminence Sir James Cardinal Freeman, K.B.E.,
