This is a multi-slat, aqua-painted wooden bench about 1.8 metres long, that is getting a bit chipped from being frequently used over the years. It is set beside the concreted walkway from Manly to Shelly Beach, on Sydney's northern beaches. The three backrest slats are painted an 'Australian sky blue', while the four wooden slats of the seat are not so freshly painted, and chipped on the edges. All of the boards are fixed with carriage bolts, from the front, to the pipes. The backdrop is stones and boulders cemented together, lined up like a rough fence, with a narrow grassy patch beneath and behind.
Like many of the other Dedicated Benches, this has a great view north along Manly Beach. The engraved, brushed stainless steel plaque is neatly inset to the top backrest slat, without any fixing screws. It reads:
