Original Story (9 a.m., Jan. 16, 2019):
EDMOND, Okla. (KOKH) — Edmond Memorial High School is on a modified lockdown, an Edmond Public Schools spokesperson confirmed to FOX 25.
The lockdown was enforced Wednesday Jan. 16 after a non-specific threat was found written on a boy's bathroom stall.
Officials say a student took a picture of the threat and posted it to social media. Another student brought it to the attention of the school.
Edmond Public Schools says it's bolstering its police presence at Memorial High School.
A modified lockdown indicates doors that are usually unlocked are now locked.
Students, who leave campus for Francis Tuttle, UCO concurrent classes and athletic practices in other campus buildings, will be allowed to leave the school.
