In Walpole, on Stone Street, is the main station for the Walpole Fire Department.
The building is located a couple hundred feet from the Main Street intersection in the center of town.
The building is a brick structure. There are six bays with full glass doors. The sign is on the tallest part of the right side of the building, stating "Walpole Fire Rescue."

"The Walpole Fire Department has its primary responsibility to the citizens of Walpole. Walpole is 20 square miles in area, with a population of approximately 23,000. Protecting $1.7 billion dollars worth of property.
The Fire Department operates 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week with its 34 Full time Firefighters, Paramedics, and Chief Officers with Full time Advanced Life Support EMS and fire prevention/suppression staff from our 1 station.
With 4 Engines, 1 Ladder Truck, 2 Ambulances, 2 Small Brush Trucks, 1 Large Brush Truck, 1 Special Hazards Unit,and with Support and utility vehicles the department handles the wide variety of needs for the town."
