An unnamed (on SIX Maps NSW; on OpenStreetMap shown as Long Point Track) dirt track leads out to Merimbula Point and the trig, from Tasman Street. It is a 'T2' walk out to this 'Hotine-style' Trig, that while it is missing the post and vanes, does have an intact Nameplate: Merimbula. Not too much in the way of views from here.
