This water tank built in 1935, is about 90 feet high. It is located on the east side of town at the intersection of E. Tipperary and 3rd Streets. Once a raucous oil boom town in the 1910's, Shamrock today has less than 100 residents and is considered a ghost town.

This rusted conical tank stands on four metal supports, and has a domed top. A newer water tower has been constructed on the west side of town for the 100 residents who still call Shamrock home.
