A six-foot tall buddy bear advertises the Berlin Zoo. The bear is located on the second floor of Berlin's Central Train Station, just above one of his brothers, a Green Buddy Bear at the main entrance to the station.
The bear is Berlin's heraldic animal (As a matter of fact, Berlin was originally named Bear-lin). The idea of the buddy bears started in 2001. By now, there are hundreds of them all over the town. |
