The mark is a Florida Department of Environmental Protection survey disk stamped ---R 635 2005---. It is set in the top of a round concrete monument flush with the ground and is about 1.0 foot above the level of Lemon Bay Road.
To reach the mark from the junction of State Road 775 (Placida Road) and State Road 776 (South McCall Road) on the south side of Englewood, go south on Highway 775 for 0.3 mile to the junction of Lemon Bay Road on the right and the mark on the right.
The mark is located 68.2 feet west of the centerline of the southbound lanes of Placida Road, 41.3 feet north of the centerline of Lemon Bay Road, 31.6 feet northwest of power pole number 5 2839 0010 00, and 2.1 feet south of a Carsonite witness post.
