The railway station with the central pavilion style main building and the separate toilet block and lamp house on either side was built in 1886 when the rail line between Blayney and Harden arrived.
The platform awning is supported by squared timber posts topped with cast iron brackets. The Stationmaster's house sits some distance away at the bottom of the hill
