"This building was WPA-funded and designed by the regional firm of Witt and Halsey who accumulated a distinguished body of work from St. Louis to Fort Worth. This building is placed on the lot with a setback to allow for a landscaped front. The building is underutilized with one floor serving county government at present. The metal awnings were added in the 1960s."
