The dolphin fountain located in the car park near the entrance to Hayes Garden World on Lake Road in Ambleside.

The fountain is surrounded by a circular wall constructed from stone. There are two silver metal dolphins that look as if they are jumping from the fountain. The higher of the two dolphins is balancing a golden coloured ball. The water from the fountain appears to represent the waves splashing below the dolphins.
