The mark is on North Beach Road, Manasota Key, in Section 1, Township 41 South, Range 19 East.

To reach the mark from the junction of State Road 776 (South McCall Road) and Beach Road in Englewood, go southwest on Beach Road for 1.4 miles to the junction of North Beach Road, turn right on North Beach Road and go north for 0.9 mile to the junction of Lemon Bay Pointe Drive on the right and the mark on the left, a stainless steel rod with an NGS logo cap flush with the ground and level with North Beach Road.

The mark is located 60.0 feet south-southeast of the approximate extended centerline of Lemon Bay Pointe Drive, 32.8 feet north-northwest of the approximate centerline of a driveway at 2800 North Beach Road, 26.4 feet west-southwest of the approximate centerline of North Beach Road, and 16.0 feet east-northeast of a Carsonite witness post.
