"Some sources refer to the creator of this beautiful park, with sinuous and shady alleys, J. Duquesnes, while others attribute it to the no less famous Louis Fuchs. The hilly appearance of the paths and the seemingly natural planting of the trees give the park a spontaneous feel and a romantic composition that preserves the privacy of the strollers. At the same time spontaneous, picturesque and imprint of romanticism, its composition, more pictorial than architectural, fits fully into the English style. There are precious and exotic tree species but also sculptures: busts of Queen Astrid and François-Joseph Navez, as well as a beautiful music kiosk rebuilt after the first world war in rustic style.

The small playground consists of a square plot of wood chips, a bridge, a staircase, several climbing facilities and a toboggan."
