Children's Memorial park is a large, well-appointed park with play areas, pavilions, and walking trails. The Children’s Memorial Plaza, set off from the more active areas of the park, provides an opportunity for quiet reflection to remember children who have died. The memorial consists of granite tablets on which the names of children are engraved and is centered around an abstract sculpture, Omniprimo, which was created in 1978 by boys & girls at a summer camp under the supervision of sculptor Joe Ventura.
