About the Pub
As the islands most northerly pub the Grosvenor always been equally popular for both drinking and dining. The "Tap Room", is a long-established favourite with locals and patrons from further afield, from families to farmers! It's very much a traditional country bar with a real sense of period charm and character. You can enjoy beers from the Island's largest brewery, Okells including guest beers. A Quiz Night is held one Sunday evening a month, everyone is always welcome and not just at quiz times.
There is also a dining room and a separate function room which can be used for events. If it is very quiet the pub may close earlier than listed on winter evenings. Food is very popular so booking meals in advance may be very necessary.
Accessibility is good as all of the pub from the car park is step free but there are no disabled toilet facilities.

"The Grosvenor
(The Plough)
The Grosvenor Hotel on the A17 road, was once aptly named The Plough, as it is the heart of a farming community. Earliest mention of The Plough at Andreas was in 1863, although it could have existed a good few years before that, probably under its present name, as a Grosvenor was mentioned in Pigot's Directory of 1837 as being at Andreas.
It had a huge facelift in the 1960s when the brewery extended and refurbished it, creating one of the most popular restuarants on the Island at the time."
