While checking out 17 Mile Drive at Pebble Beach, we came across this beautiful overlook.

The white sands of the beach are desired by harbor seals. They return each Spring to bear their young, The beach is closed during the harbor seal pupping season April 1 to June 1.
As the name suggests it is somewhat fan-shaped. There are benches available to sit and enjoy the view. The beach water is somewhat shallow for several feet into the surf.
