As you're coming into town from the east, crossing the Tennessee River, you'll see this newly restored water tower. For several years this was just a large rusty eyesore but in 2015 it restored to it's present glory. The tower used to read "Charles H Bacon Co Hosiery". The date, 1817 is the when Loudon was founded.
