Dateland was a rest stop on the old U.S. Highway 80. When Interstate 8 replaced the highway Dateland became irrelevant as a rest stop. The population of the area in 2010 was 858 and did not require a freestanding post office building. The post office is now located in a wing of the Dateland Elementary school. The address is 1300 S AVENUE 64 E., DATELAND, AZ 85333-5590. The Post Office website does not list hours for this location.
