She married Ralph Shelton, Esq., son of Ralph Shelton, Esq. and Mary Brome, in 1545; They had 4 sons (Richard; Edward, Gent; Richard; & John, Gent.) and 3 daughters (Thomasine, wife of Thomas Uvedale, Gent., & of Charles Croft, Esq; Grace, wife of John Thurton, Gent; and Frances). Prudence Calthorpe was buried on 23 October 1562 at Broome, Norfolk, England.",
