Crossing the Tantramar River just south of Sackville, this is a Canadian National Railways bridge.

The bridge is on the Canadian National (CN) mainline running from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Montréal, Québec. The line itself was originally part of the Intercolonial Railway which operated from 1872 to 1918, when it became part of Canadian National Railways. Under the bridge, on one of the old stone block piers, the date "1920" is inscribed. This indicates that the bridge, likely a replacement for an earlier bridge, has always been a CN bridge.
A two span Parker Through Truss bridge, it rests on two stone block piers in the river and concrete abutments on each end. Each end has a short steel girder approach span. Each span is about 250 feet in length, the approach spans about 65 feet, for a total length of 630 feet.
The abutments have been fairly recently replaced, bearing dates of 1985 and 1986.
