Two slabs of concrete cover the grave of Howard Williams in the Glen Innes Cemetery. At the head is a propped-up rectangular concrete slab with following very neat, inscribed text as an epitaph:

IN.LOVING.MEMORY
HOWARD.E.WILLIAMS
WW.I.VET.REMEMBERED.BY
ERNIE.IVY.CLAUDE.
A.GREAT.DAD.
HE.RESTS.IN.PEACE.

[Unfortunately there was three Howard E Williams recorded in WW1, with no indication of their town of origin, let alone Date-of-birth.]

The Reviewer found the Web Site link below, that gives Howard's year of death as 1963! (Nice snooping Quarrella)
