These three electric car chargers are on the west side of the free OKC Zoo parking lot

Three Level 2 car chargers are on the west side of the zoo parking lot. The chargers are free to use, and instructions are shown on the front of the stand. These chargers are only to be used on cars that do not require ventilation while charging.
Since these are at the zoo, the sides are painted with zoo animals (see gallery for the flamingo).

Instructions:
To start EV charge:
1. Unplug handle from unit
2. Pull out cable
3. Allow cable to slightly retract to engage ratchet to lock cable
4. Plug into vehicle
Charge completed
1. Unplug handle from vehicle
2. Pull cable to disengage ratchet
3. Allow cable to retract into unit
4. Plug connector into unit
(green) Station available-start EV charge
(blue) Charging-Electricity flowing into EV
(solid yellow) Connected-EV plugged in/Charge complete
(flashing yellow) Station awaiting EV signal to charge
(red) Out of Service - Station not available
Zoo hours are currently 9-5, but visiting hours are seasonal, so check the website before your visit.
