The Bonnet's Tavern (Old Fork's Inn)was built in 1769, and the building is 40 feet by 51 feet. The inn is constructed of cut field stone set in random ashler fashion, with the walls over two feet thick. The tavern was built by John Bonnet.
The inn was built on the site of an original William Penn land grant to Hans Ireland. Prior to the construction of the building, there was an old indian village at the site.
Today, Bonnet's Tavern is in use as a tavern, as well as Dining and lodging place.
