The City of Marion Public Library features a Garfield statue similar to those placed in communities throughout Grant County, Indiana as part of the Garfield Trail. This Garfield is one of many that were part of Cori Smith's Honor's thesis through Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. This Garfield is also known as the "Bookworm Garfield"
