A WWI memorial obelisk at St Peter's church, Leire.
The memorial consists of a two-stepped square base surmounted by a double-stacked square sectioned plinth & a square sectioned, tapering Portland stone obelisk. The obelisk pad is shaped like a very shallow urn with acanthus decoration at the corners and fluting along the sides. The inscriptions are incesed and infilled in black on the front faces of the plinth with a laurel wreath, sword & scabbard, all carved in relief.
