"A first kiosk was built in Merville (Nord) by the architect Guinoiseau on the Grand-Place (now Place Jean-Baptiste Lebas) .It was inaugurated on October 1, 1899. Bombarded in 1917, a second kiosk was built between 1927 and 1930 by the architects Legrand, Bedu and Gruson. "
